My name is Inga Locmele, and I am a frontend web developer with over 3 years of professional experience. Currently, I work remotely for Delta4 Digital Inc., a digital marketing company based in Ontario, Canada.
At Delta4 Digital Inc., our primary focus is building websites for clients across Canada and the United States, utilizing Tymbrel CMS as our foundation. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including both template-based and fully custom-built websites.
Last year, Delta4 Digital Inc. launched over 500 websites with just two frontend developers. This achievement highlights the exceptional productivity and expertise of our frontend development team.
In addition to my frontend skills, I have a solid background in database administration and information management. With over 10 years of experience in this field, I have also gained valuable leadership abilities by leading a team of 10 employees.
Furthermore, my passion for photography greatly enhances my ability to work with diverse UI designs. This hobby has honed my eye for visual aesthetics, composition, and attention to detail, enabling me to create visually captivating and user-friendly interfaces.

New Tymbrel CMS template

One of my major projects at Delta4 Digital was designing and implementing over 80 master templates, prioritizing responsiveness for seamless adaptation across different screen sizes and text lengths.
In contrast to our older template, I improved the internal template setup by integrating new JS code, enabling easy mixing and matching of various template components.
Furthermore, I added these templates to the Tymbrel CMS using Smarty, empowering content managers to efficiently manage and update the templates within the CMS environment.

This REACT project was developed during my studies at Juno College. I completed all the REACT coding in less than a week! The project utilizes the Adzuna API as its foundation, and all information is stored in Firebase. It offers several features:

I'm currently developing a custom website at Delta4 Digital, collaborating closely with the backend team. We've achieved significant improvements in the site's page speed and CLS by removing unnecessary JS code and implementing optimized CSS code with Tymbrel variables. This efficient and reusable code will enhance performance for future websites.

Geography Quiz

Introducing a Geography Game suitable for all ages.
Each game features 30 simple questions randomly selected from a pool of 55. The answers to each question are presented in a randomized order.
With a limit of 2 mistakes allowed and decreasing time per level, don't fret! Reaching a new level earns you bonus points. Keep an eye out for globes and stars!

I contributed to the development of a custom-built website for Pure Medical Cosmetics, an Ottawa-based clinic. As part of the Delta4 Digital team, I wrote CSS and JS code for the templates and integrated them into the Tymbrel platform. Together, we created a visually appealing and cohesive website, enabling the clinic to establish a strong online presence and effectively engage with their audience.

I developed this fun REACT project called "NOT-SO-SOCIAL Event Planner" as part of a team of four people during my studies at Juno College. It allows you to add unwanted events and replace them with TV shows if you prefer.
You can add or remove events and filter TV shows by genres. The site is built using REACT, Firebase, and the TVMAZE API.
Veterinarians Without Borders

This is a custom website for Veterinarians Without Borders, a non-profit charitable organization that focuses on animal health as a way to improve the health of communities. The site is managed on the Tymbrel platform by the client, and I have created custom home page templates for it.

This is a client-managed website using custom Tymbrel templates. Despite its small size, the website boasts multiple features such as two sliders, video integration, pop-ups, and an online store. To meet the specific requirements, I developed completely original slider JS code. It was a challenging project with a tight deadline, but I successfully completed all the coding within 3 days.
